As a diesel fan myself, i was instantly drawn to an advertisement i seen on MSM for the new Saab 9-3 Aero TTiD Twin Turbo diesel. Just recently i have noticed that diesels are really gaining in popularity on today’s roads.
Many car manufacturers are making use of Turbo technology to further increase fuel efficiency. Saab is no exception boasting an average of 50.4 MPG for their 1.9 TTiD twin-turbo engine. That’s not bad considering a maximum power output of 180 BHP and a 0-60 time of 8 seconds, 50-70 in 6.3. Top speed for manual transmission is 140mph and 137mph for automatic.
