		<description>Just another pointer a common failure or near failure on MOTs is the handbrake has too much travel. Easily fixed on most models if you pull up the covering around the handbrake there is normally a small nut that can be used to tighten it.</description>

1) break pads and discs for wear
2)hand break for effectivness
2 of which are mot failures

		<description>I failed my mot because my headlights pointed upwards, and did not meet the specifications set out in said mot.. however i am finding it difficult to find out the distance to height ratio that i need to set them to to pass the test.. i asked the garrage who said that they had a machine that worked it out and that was why they charge a tenner for the service..not much help really.. does anyone know what distance/height the lights are tested on</description>
